A National Lottery: Raising money for good causes
Presented to Parliament by the Home Secretary, Kenneth Baker, 6 March 1992
Proposed a National Lottery to be introduced by 1994 from which a third of the proceeds will be distributed among 'good causes' in sport, charities and the arts. Although it does not specifically mention moving picture media, these are among the beneficiaries.

Among proposals is the introduction of a National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA) to focus particularly on multi-media projects.
